I have been teaching Speech and Drama, Public Speaking and Voice for more than a decade. I am passionate about my work because it empowers individuals. From a young age I loved performing, acting and speaking in front of an audience, but what I enjoy even more, is seeing my students learn to love it too.
After graduating from University I started up a successful Speech and Drama Studio on Sydney’s North Shore. I was then offered a job at Ascham, one of the top schools in Sydney where I taught Speech and Drama and coordinated the Public Speaking program. I also taught private lessons in public speaking, acting, speech writing and communication skills outside of school hours, and wrote and fine-tuned hundreds of speeches for children, teenagers and adults. I now live in North London with my husband and our two children. Here I continue to teach speech and drama, communication skills and public speaking, and write speeches for all sorts of people and all sorts of occasions.
I have a Bachelor of Arts (English Literature) from the University of New South Wales, a Bachelor of Education from Charles Sturt University, and a Licentiate in Speech and Drama from Trinity College London. As well as this, I have completed a number of voice and public speaking workshops with leading trainers at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
